MSHA — reducing diesel exhaust in mining
Intake, cooling, lubrication, injection and exhaust maintenance to cut emissions.
Flow: how much water or slurry you need to move, in litres per minute. Work it out from the volume to drain and the time available.
Total head: add the suction height (from the water to the pump), the discharge height (from the pump to the outlet) and the hose losses, which grow with length and bends.
What you will pump: for slurry or sandy water choose a solids-handling pump with an abrasion-resistant impeller.
Suction and discharge diameter: it must match your hoses; a narrower hose reduces flow.
Altitude: diesel engines lose power at higher altitude. For high-mountain work ask about a turbocharged engine.
With that data (flow, head and type of fluid) message us and we will recommend the right unit.
